Incorporated on November 30, 1979, the Denver Security Traders was formed to create a common voice that would promote a spirit of cooperation among its members, assist in maintaining the highest possible standards of ethical conduct in the trading of securities, and foster a better understanding of all phases of the over-the-counter market when dealing with the general public.

Although DSTA currently has fewer than 200 members, individuals involved with the organization know that the resources found through involvement with DSTA are invaluable to those wishing to further their development in the securities trading profession.
