Dr. James Canton is an internationally recognized futurist. He is known for his accurate forecasts about future trends and their impact on customers, business, and society.

He is Chairman and CEO of the Institute for Global Futures, a San Francisco-based Think Tank that advises Fortune 1000 companies and governments.

Dr. Canton has served as a CNN commentator, advisor to the White House, the National Science Foundation, and has served on advisory boards at MIT's Media Lab, Europe, and Motorola.

He is a Senior Fellow at the Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University.

A frequent guest of the media, articles about Dr. Canton have appeared in Fortune, the NY Times, the Wall Street Journal, and U.S. News & World Report.

He is the author of Technofutures: How Leading-Edge Innovations Will Transform Business in the 21st Century, and his latest book, The Extreme Future.
